Cleaning Women are a Finnish trio formed in 1996 who play exclusively on self-built instruments, including washing-machine drums and rebuilt clothes racks. Their fifth album "Washer" came out in October 2025 on Svart Records. Alongside their own records they perform live scores for silent films, notably the 1924 Soviet science-fiction classic "Aelita".
