Conflict

Conflict are an anarcho-punk band from Eltham in south London, formed in 1981. After the debut EP "The House That Man Built" (1982, Crass Records) they founded Mortarhate Records in 1983 and, with their commitment to anarchism, animal rights and anti-war causes, became one of the defining bands after Crass. Singer Colin Jerwood died in May 2025, shortly after the album "This Much Remains"; the remaining members have played in his memory since, in 2027 under the name "This Much Remains".
