CONNY OCHS

Conny Ochs, born Cornelius Ochs in 1979 in Halle (Saale), East Germany, is a singer-songwriter known for stark, doom-tinged songs on unamplified guitar paired with poetic, often bleak lyrics. He records for the label Exile On Mainstream and gained wider recognition through collaborations with Wino (Scott Weinrich, on the albums "Heavy Kingdom" and "Labour of Love") and with Mark Lanegan. Alongside solo albums such as "Raw Love Songs", "Black Happy", "Future Fables" and "Doom Folk", he runs the experimental project TRIALOGOS.
