Crimson Sleep

Crimson Sleep play melodic death metal from Wittlich in Rhineland-Palatinate. A first recording made in their own studio and a demo CD were followed in 2008 by the album “Fragile” and its ten tracks; their live set also included an Amon Amarth cover. The band broke up in 2011 and its website served only as an archive afterwards. It later reformed with a partly new line-up and a new singer, returned to the clubs and village festivals between the Eifel and the Moselle — Stella's Pub in Prüm among them — and wrote new material, including the German-language track “Abgrund”. The sound sets melodic guitar lines against a throaty growl.
