Crom

Crom is an epic power/heavy metal project from Landshut, Bavaria, founded in 1997 by Walter "Crom" Grosse, formerly bassist/guitarist of Dark Fortress. What began as a solo project grew into a band, rounded out by Steve Peyerl (guitar) and Thomas Hagl (drums). Musically Crom blends acoustic passages with crushing metal riffs and choirs, drawing inspiration from Bathory, with lyrical themes of warriors, battle, loss and salvation. Five albums have been released, including "The Era of Darkness" (January 2023) on From The Vaults Records.
