D2 is one of Bulgaria's best-known rock bands, founded in Sofia by guitarist Dimitar Karnev with original singer Dicho Hristov, who left in 2005. Their debut "Ледено момиче" (2000) sold more than 100,000 copies, making it the best-selling Bulgarian album of its era; in 2024 the band marked 25 years on stage with a concert at Sofia's National Palace of Culture.
