Darkkirchensteuer

Darkkirchensteuer are a black metal band formed in 1999 in Wülfrath, in Germany's Bergisches Land, making them one of the longer-running names in the North Rhine-Westphalian scene — not something the name necessarily promises. It deliberately sets the customary gravity of German black metal against a decidedly worldly piece of administrative vocabulary.
