Darkness

Darkness is a thrash metal band from Essen in Germany's Ruhr region, formed in 1984. Their debut album "Death Squad" (1987) and its successor "Defenders of Justice" made them one of the pioneers of German thrash metal. After splitting in 1991 and spending years under the name Eure Erben, the band returned under its original name and continues to release new albums.
