Formed in 1989, Das Ich blended electronic, symphonic, and early industrial elements into an explosive and unprecedented sound in the German music scene. The duo of Stefan Ackermann on vocals and lyrics and Bruno Kramm on instruments and music quickly established themselves as a leading act in the gothic, industrial, and EBM genres.
