Dead by April is a metalcore band from Gothenburg, Sweden, formed in 2007 by Jimmie Strimell and Pontus Hjelm, a former member of Cipher System. The band combines clean and unclean vocals and blends metalcore and post-hardcore with elements of orchestral rock, techno, nu metal, melodic death metal and emo.
