Decessus are a progressive death metal band founded in Santiago, Chile in 2020 by vocalist Ignacia Fernández. The band combines progressive song structures with metalcore influences, citing acts like Jinjer, Gojira and Arch Enemy as inspirations. Fernández made international headlines when she was crowned Miss World Chile in 2025.
