Defiance

Defiance is an American thrash metal band from Oakland, California, formed in 1985 as part of the Bay Area thrash scene alongside bands like Forbidden, Vio-Lence and Death Angel. Signed to Roadrunner Records, they released three albums in the early 1990s before disbanding in 1995. After several breakups and reunions (including 2005 and 2019), Defiance has performed with D.R.I. and Tankard.
