Der Englische Garten

Der Englische Garten is a band formed in Munich in 2005 around Axel Koch (vocals, guitar) and the late Bernd Hartwich (bass), who died in 2020. The band plays guitar pop with pop-punk elements, citing English influences such as Madness, The Kinks and Dexy's Midnight Runners. Following Hartwich's death, the band has continued with a changed lineup.
