DevilDriver is a groove metal band formed in Santa Barbara, California in 2003 by vocalist Dez Fafara, formerly of Coal Chamber. Blending groove metal, thrash, and death metal influences, they have established themselves as a staple of the modern metal scene since their self-titled debut in 2003.
