Die Krupps

Die Krupps are a band formed in Düsseldorf in 1980 around Jürgen Engler. Together with co-founders Ralf Dörper and Bernward Malaka, they are regarded as key pioneers of Electronic Body Music (EBM) and industrial music. Their early work combined harsh electronic rhythms, synthesizers and metal percussion, and from the early 1990s they fused EBM with guitars into an influential industrial-metal sound. Die Krupps are considered one of Germany's most important bands in the genre and have influenced numerous later electro and industrial acts.
