DIESELKNECHT

Dieselknecht is a band from Dortmund, Germany, founded in 2007, that combines elements of bluegrass, folk, and punk. The band members, originally from the area between Ibbenbüren and Osnabrück, use banjo, guitar, double bass, and drums, singing German lyrics about topics like love, death, and the devil. Their name is a synonym for tractors. The group has released several albums and has also been active in film, including the award-winning music video for "Der letzte Wilderer".
