Dirk "Diggen" Jora, born 1960 in Hamburg, is an icon of German punk. As the vocalist of the legendary Hamburg punk band Slime, he shaped the Deutschpunk movement from 1979 to 2020. After leaving Slime, Diggen performs solo, collaborates with Swiss und die Andern, and plays Slime classics live backed by Rasta Knast.
