Dire Straits Over Gold

Tribute to Dire Straits

Dire Straits Over Gold is an Italian tribute band dedicated to the music of Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler. The group traces back to the jazz trio "Jurgen And The Blue Dogs" founded in 1999, which evolved into the "Londoncafe" project in 2002 before taking its current Dire Straits tribute form in 2012. The band has played hundreds of concerts across Italy and Europe, performing in front of more than 10,000 spectators.
