Drone is a German thrash metal band from Celle, founded in 2004. After winning the Wacken Metal Battle in 2006, they established themselves through tours with Die Apokalyptischen Reiter, Korpiklaani, and Overkill. After a hiatus, they returned with new material in 2024.
