ESCUELA GRIND

Escuela Grind formed in Ithaca, New York, in 2016 as a three-piece grindcore and powerviolence outfit, driven by a desire to fill the local void with raw, catchy 'grind-violence' inspired by classics like Napalm Death, Infest, and Wormrot. Featuring vocalist Katerina Economou, drummer Jesse Fuentes (ex-Kill the Client), and members from across the US including Kris Morash on bass, the band—now based in Upstate New York and Western Massachusetts—delivers punishingly short songs laced with politically charged lyrics on modern anxieties. Renowned for their prolific releases like the 2020 LP Indoctrination and relentless touring schedule, they unleash apocalyptic live assaults that ignite mosh pits and stage dives nationwide.
