Factoria Session Band

Factoria Session Band is a folk group based in the northern Upper Palatinate and Upper Franconia regions. It formed from members of the former Stonewood Stringband together with musicians who began meeting for folk sessions in 2012 at Andy Steidl's "Factoria". Their repertoire combines American oldtime music with related Irish and Scottish folk traditions, a style they describe as "transatlantic".
