Faust

Faust are counted among the most important krautrock groups alongside Kraftwerk, Can and Tangerine Dream. In the early 1970s the Hamburg band became the first act signed to the newly founded Virgin label, where "The Faust Tapes", sold at the price of a single, reached the UK album charts. Founding keyboardist Hans Joachim Irmler relaunched the band in 2026.
