Fer De Lance

Fer de Lance is a Chicago-based epic heavy metal band formed around 2019, emerging from ideas workshopped by vocalist/guitarist M.P. and bassist Rüsty during sessions for their prior power/speed metal project Moros Nyx. Known for their soaring vocals, mid-paced hymn-like dramatism, and influences drawing from Bathory-era epic metal blended with folk and power metal elements, they debuted with the Colossus EP in 2020 followed by their full-length The Hyperborean in 2022, captivating fans with theatrical fantasy-themed anthems and intricate guitar work. The band has built a dedicated following through cross-country tours and relentless sonic exploration, pushing epic metal boundaries with masterful live energy.
