Fischer-Z are a British post-punk and new wave band formed in London in 1976 by vocalist and guitarist John Watts. They achieved widespread success across Europe in the late 1970s and early 1980s with songs such as "The Worker", "So Long", and "Marliese". The band remain active and continue to tour regularly throughout Europe.
