Florence Black, a powerhouse rock trio from Merthyr Tydfil in the Welsh Valleys, was formed in 2012 by lifelong friends Tristan Thomas (guitar/vocals), Jordan Evans (bass), and Perry Davies (drums). Blending grunge-infused riffs inspired by Temple of the Dog and classic '70s melodic rock like Fleetwood Mac, they've built a loyal following through gritty hard rock anthems. Notable achievements include self-releasing their debut album Weight of the World in 2021—produced by Romesh Dodangoda—and reaching number one on the UK charts with Bed of Nails, alongside high-profile support slots for Stone Sour at Paris' Bataclan (hand-picked by Corey Taylor), Alter Bridge, Steel Panther, and Ugly Kid Joe, plus electrifying performances at festivals like Hellfest, Download Festival, and Steelhouse.
