Franna

Franna is the music project of Johanna Schmaloeer, a Berlin-based artist born in 1996 who studied Music and Movement at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK), majoring in voice. As Franna, she combines tape recordings, field recordings, voice and processed cello textures into soundscapes spanning ambient, experimental pop, and noise. She is also part of GUDRUN, a music and dance collective founded in 2024, and has taught voice and movement courses since 2022.
