Garp

GARP is an indie-rock band whose core trio — Christoph Büscher, Gerald Halstenberg and Thomas Meyer — has played together since 1995, originating from the East Westphalian scene around Bad Oeynhausen; drummer Markus Spin completed the lineup in 2010. Around 2009 the band shifted its base to Berlin. Their repertoire spans fast-paced indie-rock, dreamy pop melodies and classic rock songs, built on multi-part vocal harmonies. The band has released several albums, including 'Animal Station' (1995), 'Olga' (1997) and 'I.O.U.' (2019), and has repeatedly performed at the Rockwiese Open Air in Bad Oeynhausen.
