Tribute to Queen
God Save the Queen, also known as Dios Salve a la Reina, is Argentina's pioneering Queen tribute band, formed in 1998 in Rosario by Pablo Padin (vocals), Francisco Calgaro (guitar), Matias Albornoz (drums), and Ezequiel Tibaldo (bass). Renowned for their faithful recreations of Queen's 1980s live shows—complete with costumes, stage presence, and precise musical imitation—they have thrilled audiences worldwide with hits like Bohemian Rhapsody and We Are the Champions. Notable achievements include sell-out performances at Luna Park Stadium in Buenos Aires, the Mathew Street Festival in Liverpool for 35,000 fans, and tours across Europe, Asia, and Latin America, earning praise as 'the best tribute to Queen of all time' from Rolling Stone Magazine and recognition from Freddie Mercury's personal assistant Peter Freestone.
