Gravestone

Gravestone formed in 1977 in Illertissen in the Bavarian Iller valley, starting out in drawn-out progressive rock before turning to straight heavy metal in 1980. Five studio albums followed between 1979 and 1986 - "Doomsday", "War", "Victim of Chains", "Back to Attack" and "Creating a Monster" - after which the band split and several members carried on as 48 Crash. In 2019 the 1985 line-up reunited for live shows.
