Gwennyn

Gwennyn Louarn, born 1974 in Rennes, is a Breton singer-songwriter who performs in Breton, French and English. She blends traditional Breton sounds with elements of pop, rock and world music, and became known to a wider audience through a 2000 collaboration with Alan Stivell. She has won several European songwriting competition prizes, including the "Grand prix du disque Produit en Bretagne" in 2007 for her debut album.
