Highland Saga

Highland Saga is a German-British multimedia music show launched in 2022. The show follows young Dougie Cunningham, who grows up in 1930s Scotland and becomes a bagpiper with the legendary Scots Guards, backed by a live band featuring guitarist Ian Melrose and narrator Alasdair Hutton. The setlist combines Scottish classics like 'Auld Lang Syne' and 'Loch Lomond' with original compositions and rock/pop arrangements. Both of the show's albums (2022/2023) reached the German Top 40.
