Hysterese

Hysterese is a punk rock band formed in 2009 in Tübingen, Germany. Their sound combines melancholic punk rock with garage, post-punk and wave-pop elements, carried by big melodies over widescreen, sometimes shoegaze-tinged guitars. The band has released four self-titled albums so far and has toured in more than 20 countries. Hysterese is known for a deliberately minimalist approach, with little social-media presence and understated self-promotion.
