Ignition

Ignition were a hardcore punk band from Washington, D.C., active from 1986 to 1989 and signed to Dischord Records. Formed by Alec MacKaye and Chris Bald (both ex-Faith) alongside Dante Ferrando (Gray Matter) and Chris Thomson (Soulside), they blended punk fury with melodic experimentation in the vein of the D.C. post-hardcore scene. Their complete output was compiled on the 1994 release "Complete Services."
