Interstellar Overdrive formed in Athens, Greece around 1998. The band won a local Battle of the Bands contest in 1999, leading to the release of their debut album in 2000. Interstellar Overdrive's genre has evolved dramatically with each new project, blending elements of alternative rock, experimental, and progressive rock.
