J5 Band

J5 – Jumpin' Five Blues Band from Cologne, Germany, has been performing live since 2017. The band's name refers to Jump Blues, an upbeat, swing-infused blues style popular in the 1940s. The lineup comprises Boris Ciszewski (harp/vocals), Andreas Kessens (guitar/vocals), Berthold Terfloth (drums), Wolfgang Fuchs (bass) and Uwe Heinrichs (keyboard); lyrics favor comedic self-irony over classic self-pity.
