Jakobs Castle

Jakobs Castle is the project of Jakob Nowell, son of Sublime frontman Bradley Nowell, created with producer and co-collaborator Jon Joseph. Nowell describes it as mixing California's past with the fresh mystery of internet underground culture – an 'affected cyber ska weirdness' built from ska-inspired grooves, rocksteady, synth sounds and electro-pop. The album 'Enter: The Castle' comprises 14 songs; 'Time Traveler' grew out of a writing session with Tim Armstrong (Rancid, Operation Ivy).
