Johnny Dynamite

Johnny Dynamite is the solo project of Brooklyn-based singer, songwriter and producer John Morisi, at times joined by his backing band The Bloodsuckers. The name comes from a comic-book character created by his grandfather, artist Pete Morisi. Musically the project blends post-punk and synth-pop, drawing on influences like Pet Shop Boys, INXS and The Cure, and is released through Born Losers Records.
