Kasalla

Kasalla are a band from Cologne, formed in 2011, who sing in the Kölsch dialect and count as part of modern Kölschrock. Albums such as “Et jitt Kasalla!”, “Us der Stadt met K”, “Mer sin Eins” and “Rudeldiere” set rock music to lyrics about the city, belonging and sticking together. The band plays Cologne's large venues — live records like “Live in der Kölnarena” and “Kasalla im Stadion” document that, as do the orchestral programmes of the “Nit esu laut” series.
