KingPi & the Skayards

KingPi & the Skayards (also written "King π & the Skayards") are a four-piece ska band from Osnabrück, Germany, playing drums, bass, guitar and recorder. They cover 2Tone and skinhead-reggae classics such as "Monkey Man" and "Murder", alongside arrangements of Django Reinhardt pieces and Kurt Weill's settings of Brecht texts. Billed as a "Cable Street Beat" band, they have performed antifascist material, including at a 2023 Osnabrück commemoration of the Nazi book burnings.
