La Ratte

La Ratte is a Dutch/German trio featuring Harm van Essen (vocals, guitar), Jochem Jorissen (drums) and Nikolas Karolewicz (bass), playing a raw, unpolished mix of Rhythm & Blues and roots rock. The band started as a duo of van Essen and Jorissen before Karolewicz joined on bass. Their sound draws on Texas Blues, Mississippi Hill Country groove and Louisiana Swamp Pop, with releases including the albums 'Astray' and 'Triptyque de La Ratte'.
