Lebenshilfe

Lebenshilfe from Aschaffenburg is the renamed continuation of the band Noisy Valet, made up of musicians also active in Electric Jugs, Dead Taste, Abzug, Clear Gash and Shocktroopers. The band calls its own sound "Dull Music" — simple song structures with dense soundscapes interrupted by harsh guitar work, close to murky psychedelic comedown rock with monotonous rhythmic elements (comparisons drawn include The Velvet Underground, The Brian Jonestown Massacre and The Jesus and Mary Chain). Lyrically the band explores inner uncertainty and the lonely desolation of young adults in society. Their first show under the Lebenshilfe name took place in May 2026 alongside Artificial Go in Aschaffenburg.
