Maahes are a black metal band formed in 2015 in Grafenau, in the Bavarian Forest. They set the atmosphere of ancient Egypt to music, pairing classic German black/thrash roots with oriental scales and melodic, atmospheric passages. Their debut album "Reincarnation" appeared on MDD Records in 2020, followed by "Nechacha" on Massacre Records.
