Macbeth

Macbeth is a heavy/thrash metal band formed in 1985 in Erfurt, one of the first metal bands to emerge in East Germany (GDR). The band was pressured by GDR authorities and hit with performance bans; it split up after reunification, briefly reunited in 1993, and then went on hiatus again for about a decade. Since returning in 2002, Macbeth has released albums including "Imperium" (2015) and "Gedankenwächter" (2020) via Massacre Records.
