Made in Purple

Made in Purple is a Belgian tribute band founded by guitarist Bert Verschueren, a teacher at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp. The lineup consists of musicians and fellow instructors from the conservatoires of Ghent and Brussels: Pieter Jan De Paepe (vocals), Pieter Van Malderen (keys), Jean-Philippe Komac (drums) and Christoph Devisscher (bass). The band performs Deep Purple's 1972 live album 'Made in Japan' in full, using the same type of amplifiers the original band used.
