Mango Wood

Mango Wood is a ska, rocksteady and early reggae band formed in Madrid in 2016, with members who previously played in groups such as Upsttemians, Einstein, Ready Getters and Rude Pride. The band recreates the Jamaican sound of the late 1960s (roughly 1968–1970), built around distinctive multi-part vocal harmonies and a vintage instrumental style. Releases have come out via the label Liquidator Music, most recently the album "The Sound of Now" (November 2024).
