Marillion

Marillion

Rock

Marillion emerged from Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England, in the early '80s as one of the leaders of the neo-progressive rock movement. The group's early work was heavily influenced by Genesis, but they gradually developed their own sound. With the charismatic Fish as their lead singer, Marillion achieved significant commercial success, particularly in the UK and Europe. Following Fish's departure in 1988, Steve Hogarth took over vocal duties, leading the band in a slightly more pop-oriented direction while retaining their progressive roots. Marillion has maintained a dedicated fanbase and continues to record and tour extensively.
