MAWIZA

Mawiza (also written “Mawisa”) is a Mapuche metal band from Wallmapu / Santiago, Chile, formed in 2014 (originally as Nunca Seremos Dichosos). Singing in the Mapuzugun language, they fuse groove-laden metal with Indigenous Mapuche music and themes of decolonisation, and are signed to Season of Mist.
