Mein Kopf ist ein brutaler Ort is a groove/thrash metal band from Frankfurt am Main, founded in 2012 after the dissolution of their predecessor band Unknown Darkness. The band's trademark is its two-part, German-language shout vocals. They have released the albums "Brutalin" (2015), "Selbstmitleitkultur" (2018) and "Ton, Steine, Sterben" (2022), plus the 2026 EP "Krisenfest".
