Melanie Wiegmann and The Great Band

Melanie Wiegmann & Carl Carlton and The Great Band is a duo project of actress and singer Melanie Wiegmann and East Frisian guitarist, songwriter and producer Carl Carlton, performing Americana, Rhythm & Blues and Soul together with their band. Carl Carlton previously worked with Herman Brood, Manfred Mann, Eric Burdon, Joe Cocker, Willy DeVille and Robert Palmer, with whom he co-wrote and produced the Grammy-nominated album "Drive." Melanie Wiegmann became known for her role in the telenovela "Sturm der Liebe" and has appeared on stage in "Mamma Mia!", "Cabaret" and at the Staatstheater Nürnberg. Their debut album "Glory Of Love" (2023) reached the German Top 50 album charts, followed in 2026 by the album "Miles Of Time."
