Messa

Messa is an Italian doom metal band formed on the first day of 2014 in Cittadella, near Bassano del Grappa in northern Italy, by vocalist Sara Bianchin, guitarist Alberto Piccolo, bassist Marco Zanin, and drummer Rocco Zanin. Emerging from diverse musical backgrounds including punk, blues, hard rock, and black metal, they none had prior doom experience and crafted a unique 'Scarlet Doom' sound blending prog, jazz, dark ambient, and heavy riffs that defies genre boundaries. Known for relentless evolution across releases starting with their 2016 debut *Belfry*, constant touring, hundreds of shows, and signing with Metal Blade Records, Messa has built a tight-knit reputation for innovative songwriting and captivating live performances.
